Ekvtime Takaishvili (1862-1953) was a Georgian historian, archaeologist, public benefactor and Eastern Orthodox saint. on October 17, 2002, the Georgian Orthodox Church canonized him as a saint, bestowing upon him the title of Saint Ekvtime, Man of God.
