VERA PAGAVA

Vera Pagava (ვერა ფაღავა - 1907, Tbilisi – 1988, Paris) was a Georgian painter, graphic artist, decorator and monumentalist who was an important representative of French art in the 1960s and 1970s.

From 1932 to 1939 she studied at the Académie Ranson, Paris,. In 1966 she represented France at the 33rd Venice Biennale. In 1986 she created stained glass windows and the interior design of the St. Joseph Church in Dijon.
