Buba Kudava is a prominent Georgian historian, professor, author, and publisher. Born on October 25, 1972, in Tbilisi, Georgia, he is highly regarded for his extensive academic research into medieval Georgian history and culture.

He specializes in the historical geography and cultural heritage of Tao-Klarjeti, a historical region spanning modern-day northeastern Turkey, leading field research missions there for over two decades.
