CONVERSATION AT THE MUSEUM

Conversations at the Museum is another event of series of meetings and discussions with the visual artists who represent different generations of photographers.

 

The event will be held on Thursday, March 31, at 6:30pm at the Tbilisi Photography and Multimedia Museum as part of the exhibition A River in Silent Flux.

 

Participating artists: Tbel Abuseridze, Shakh Aivazov, Tako Robakidze, Yuri Mechitov, David Meskhi, Guram Tsibakhashvili, Giorgi Shengelia, Gia Chkhatarashvili, Irma Sharikadze.

 

Moderator: Nestan Nizharadze, curator of the exhibition, Artistic Director and Co-Founder of the Tbilisi Photo Festival and the Tbilisi Photography and Multimedia Museum.

 

Discussion will focus on the works from the exhibition A River in Silent Flux which are produced in the format of documentary or conceptual-documentary photography and show the reality of different ethnic and religious groups living in Georgia.

 

The exhibition A River in Silent Flux is part of the USAID/Georgia’s #WeAreSakartvelo campaign, that aims to raise awareness of the importance of ethnic and religious diversity of Georgia.
