Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi has taken a new form: its digital platform aims to bring Georgian fashion industry to light.

Escape from clichés, traditions, outdated and irrelevant values, home, school, church…The idea of escape precisely encapsulates the entire collection. Each item they have created reflects the greatest desire to run away.

Tessa Jewelry line is created in close collaboration of the designer with the jeweler in Tbilisi, Georgia. The designs are hand-crafted with gold-plated brass, silver, and adorned with natural gemstones.

This season Materiel welcomes new Creative Director Tiko Paksashvili. Graduate of Tbilisi Academy of Arts, Tiko is the creative force behind one of the strongest collections presented at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

Le Chic Radical SS21 is about the concept of duality forming a harmony and balance within, two opposing and complementing halves that together complete wholeness.

Levau Shvelidze SS 21 expends his surrealistic research, existing on the edge of reality and fantasy. His world is an attempt to create a new mythology, which is a soft symbiosis of modern counterculture and pre-Christian mythology. This time, he disintegrates and destroys the object of his research – humans.

Lako Bukia was born in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia. She did her first BA at A. Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Art, where she graduated with a BA in Fashion and Textiles Diploma. After graduation Lako went to London and did a second BA at the prestigious London College of Fashion specializing in Womenswear.

Tamuna Karumidze is a multimedia artist born and based in Tbilisi who has dipped into the world of fashion designer under the label Tamra.

Avtandil Tskvitinidze is one of the pioneers in Georgian fashion scene. The definition of femininity has been a trademark of designers in unpredictable ways since the 2000s.

Aka Nanitashvili is developing and creating exquisite items. Her brand is presented in various cities including Kiev, Almaty, Moscow and Batumi. Moreover, her range of clients is further growing now, as AKA NANITA has recently launched a baby line, MAIA.

Gvantsa Janashia is a Georgian fashion designer, who studied Fashion Design and Styling at the Paris American Academy in Paris, France. Later on, she established her own brand “Janashia”. From January 2015, Janashia started promoting and exporting her collection abroad.

The GUDU brand was founded in 2015 by the Georgian designer Lasha Mdinaradze who lives and works in Kiev.

TATUNA is a Georgian label founded by designer Tatuna Nikolaishvili in early 2008. Tatuna graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts with a BA in Leather and Accessories.

AKA PRODIASHVILI is 25 years old Georgian, Tbilisi-based designer, who has started his career as a stylist at the age of 15. He debuted with SS19 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi, which has brought him a huge success, Aka was seen in Vogue and Dazed Magazine, the cover of Re-edition Magazine and many more, artists such as: Lady Gaga, Arca, Paris Hilton and others.

ANOUKI is a Georgian, Tbilisi-based brand, established in July 2013, with head designer Anouki Areshidze. After studying fashion design, styling, and consulting in the world’s leading universities such as Istituto Marangoni and Accademia del Lusso, Anouki decided that it was time to realize her ideas about designing clothes and got back to the native country.

George Keburia is a womenswear and accessories label designed and made in Tbilisi, Georgia. The self-taught designer founded his fun-loving eponymous label in 2010, presenting a surrealist collection saturated with fantastical references and outlandish concepts.
