Maka Bulia

Marina Bulia – Art Historian, PhD, Senior Researcher at the George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation. 

Her research focuses on medieval Georgian wall painting, the cult of the saints - its rise and function, as well as issues related to the religious, political, and social aspects of the veneration of relics. Other areas of her work include the popularization of cultural heritage and editorial - publishing activities.
